I placed an order for sunglasses on may 31 and received an email that they shipped on June 2. Said estimated delivery was June 12, then changed to June 3, now says still calculating. I contacted ups and they said the package is still with merchant as they do not have it yet. Wtf? So it was shipped yet ups doesn't have it? No that's not gonna fly. You flipping crooks won't get away with this. And not to mention it's impossible to get them on the phone! Do not ever order from sunglass hut. Com
Sunglass Hut's 24 month warranty was not honored. I had a small stress crack in one lens. Brought Ray Ban sunglasses to a store for replacement. I was told that even though that 24 month warranty was on their web site, it was really only one year. I was five days after one year because they were closed for Covid-19. I will not shop at Sunglass Hut again.

I was surprised to see all the negative reviews, I've bought from Sunglass Hut a few times over the years and it's always been fine. I've been to the kiosks in the past but I bought my latest pair of Oakleys 2 days ago online and they've just turned up today with no issues.
This is an update from the May 2021 "Are your glasses really new?" review regarding my Bvlgari serpenti bv6122b sunglasses literally falling apart a month after purchasing them from a Sunglass Hut in Macy's at Oakbrook.
And this statement copied and pasted from my email:

Straight up malarkey. Not that I would ever buy anything from Sunglass Hut again, but when I clicked the link within the email (1 day later), and attempted to enter my email address as prompted, suddenly my email (that was validated in sending response regarding my claim) was deemed invalid. I'm not really even surprised after the statement by the Sunglass Hut employee informing me that exchanged glasses are recycled. However I'd be surprised if such an unethical business practice is legal though. I wonder if Macy's is aware of their business practices. Macy's associates were clear in explaining to me that Sunglass Hut is a separate business. However allowing a business with poor customer service, to use their retail space may reflect poorly on Macy's. I am definitely following through with the Better Business Bureau, and if needed, state Attorney General's office.
Sunglasses hut at the international mall is horrible, bad service and rudeness it's just horrible. Not a good experience at the store or any sunglass hut store for that matter bad bad management and lots of rudeness.
I literally sat on hold for a half hour. Then the woman told me that she’s sorry and can’t help me.. absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Disgraceful customer service. They are ignoring customers’ rights and delaying refunds without any communication. Horrible company. I have already submitted an official complaints to government consumer services. All customers waiting for their refunds should do the same. This is abuse of our rights.
I have been waiting for a month for my refund. Have exchanged 5 emails and 3 calls without any progress. Disgusting company.

Just pick a pair of sunglasses pay for them and then have the company tell you they don’t know where they are or just wait for UPS or tell you about the order that was ordered the day before and delivered in under 3days !!!!!!

Like the last review i purchased my new Ray-Bans and then read some negative reviews and thought “oh dear what have i done”..However after receiving an email from Sunglass Hut yesterday to say they were on the way I started to track them.
Last night at 11.30 they were in Italy, when I got up for work they where in Edinburgh and this afternoon they where here in my possession in Glasgow ! (3 days early btw) Now that’s quick. They came in a nice Sunglass Hut box (ideal for a gift) and inside was the Ray-Ban box containing the glasses, and they are absolutely superb. Well done Suglass Hut, after reading a few not so good reviews I thought you deserve this. Absolute class product and service ????????
The sunglasses I ordered late December arrived today. I was advised the glasses were delayed by Brexit
I am pleased with my purchase and although delayed, found customer services polite and clear in their explanation.
Ordered a pair of sunglasses over a month ago and they still haven't arrived. After numerous calls and emails back and forth wasting everyone's time finally I was informed they were shipped from Italy to the UK, then from the UK over to Cologne. I live in Ireland. Worst. Service. Ever.
Absolutely horrendous shopping experience with sunglass hut. Placed an order on 30th, says order processing for about a week. I contact customer services, they give a ‘brexit’ excuse and say it’ll be with me within 3 days. 3 days come and go and I email AGAIN, still say about brexit and can’t give me a date for delivery so I cancel my order. A day later my order is on the way and money been taken even though I cancelled it! Now it’s apparently my responsibility to call UPS to get the order sent back to the sunglass hut warehouse???!!! Never heard of something so backward! I’ve asked for complaints department details and been ignored... AVOID THIS SHAMBLES OF A COMPANY!!!
Ordered a pair of Oakley's. Thought i was getting a great deal. They sent me an email confirming the order and a UPS tracking number. Tracking number did not work so i called them asking for my order. The order was apparently delivered by UPS but i definitely never got it. They asked me to provide proof of signature to investigate which will take a few days. Then they will issue a refund, they will not even replace the glasses. All in all out of my money no glasses and they are investigating... BTW the glasses i bought on their Black Friday special sale... They most likely never had them just wanted the money... Just buy Oakley's at the official store...
